On Tuesday evening, March 17th, the CDC recommended that all routine eye care be deferred until further notice in order to slow the transmission of COVID-19 through our community.
THIS DOES NOT MEAN WE ARE CLOSING. Please be assured that we are still available to triage all urgent and emergent eye health issues as well as help you with urgent vision correction matters.
What does this mean?
If you are scheduled for an annual eye examination, we will be contacting you to confirm that you have an urgent need OR to reschedule you after April 6th.
Starting Thursday, March 19th our hours of operation will be 9-5 Monday through Thursday, and 9-1 on Friday.
We will be open during office hours for emergent and urgent care. Examples of this care would be injuries, infections, pain, loss of vision, loss of vision correction (broken glasses or running out of contacts), etc. Essentially, IF YOU NEED US, CALL US AND WE WILL FIGURE OUT A WAY TO TAKE CARE OF YOU!
If you are running out of a medication, please contact us and we can transmit a refill electronically to your pharmacy.
If you have an urgent eye issueOmaha Primary Eye Care but are uncomfortable coming to the office in person, call us and we will work with whatever technologies are available to find a solution to your problem.
After hours emergencies will be handled by Heartland Eye Consultants. Their number is 402-493-6500.
Please know we love serving your eye care needs and limiting our access was a very difficult decision during these confusing times. We look forward to returning to normal hours and seeing you all very soon!
